VW T2 camper The Cab
This is the story of our own 1979 VW T2 Camper which we are refitting out. (The Cab)
This is as it arrived to our workshop in April 2019.
Stage 1
Mask up and Undercoat the dashboard ready for paint. While waiting to dry, paint air vents and ash tray.
Paint dashboard cream.
Paint top part of dash red leaving the flat surface behind black to stop reflection.
Stage 2
Loosening off dash. Mask up ready to paint. The paint dash and refit.
Today (27th May 2019) we added chrome surrounds to the instrument panel, and new screws and clips.
