12th Sept 2018 We joined the Winchester MG Owners Club display at Winchester Cathedral (Saturday) as part of the annual HODS weekend (Hampshire Open Days). The theme this year is “Extraordinary Women”. (Doreen Evans) Doreen Evans born 1911 was a MG driver at Brooklands from the age of 17.
The Winchester MGOC invited any make of car, so we took our 1975 Rolls Royce Corniche to the display (as it was short notice, and nearest the door!) This was the cars first ever classic car meeting and it did attract a lot of interest, as did all the other cars on the display.
